About the event
This class explores the covited world of Loop Group ADR. Learn from Emmy & MSPE award-winning Sound Supervisor, Sam Lewis, (A Little Million Things, Outer Banks, Chucky, Good Behavior, etc). During this intensive, you'll be up at the mic, learnings the "do's" and "don'ts" of Group ADR, how to do Group ADR formations, and how to prepare for a session!
About Sam: Sam Lewis began his career with a degree in recording arts from Full Sail University. Getting his start in recording music, he soon shifted his focus to a love for post production sound. He worked for many years recording ADR and looping sessions, as well as recording and editing foley. For the last 10 years Sam has transitioned to Supervising Sound Editing, working on many projects including A Million Little Things, Outer Banks, Chucky, and Good Behavior. He has earned 1 Emmy and 4 MPSE awards for his work. “I love all of the facets of sound and am extremely grateful that I get to focus on making each of them work together and create the best complete projects possible. Sound adds so much emotion and quality to a project, and is really the ingredient that ends up making it magical.”
